Drake SDM1000

The Drake SDM1000 is designed for use in the MEQ1000 Multiplexing Hybrid QAM Modulator to provide a QT Plus transcoding solution for the Shaw’s Anik G1 Satellite. The SDM1000 is designed to handle the 8PSK turbo FEC and higher data rate of Anik G1.

The SDM1000 demodulates QPSK, and 8PSK, has a 950-2,150 MHz wide-band tuner, and can process MPEG-2 or MPEG-4/H.264 clear or encrypted program streams.
