Where did the Blonder Tongue Laboratories
name come from?
The Blonder Tongue names come directly from our founders, Isaac (Ike) S. Blonder
and Ben H. Tongue.

When was the company founded ?
The Company was originally founded in 1950. It was in the early days of broadcast
TV and our founders saw a need for Booster Amplifiers to improve fringe-area
reception. The company was incorporated in November, 1988, under the laws
of the state of Delaware as a successor to a New Jersey corporation operating
under the same name.
