Blonder Tongue features its HDTV, SDTV, and IPTV solutions at NAB Show 2011 (Booth SU2604)
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
OLD BRIDGE, New Jersey, March 11, 2011 – Blonder Tongue Laboratories, Inc. (AMEX:BDR)
is pleased to return to the
NAB Show
, exhibiting in booth # SU2604. The company will present and demonstrate its newest solutions for HDTV, SDTV, and IPTV applications including:
[1] The
IPAT
(IP ASI Transcoder) is the Company’s latest release. Designed for IPTV applications, the IPAT is a bi-direction ASI-to-IP transcoder, which accepts MPEG2/4-encoded input streams in 1000Base-T Ethernet (GbE) and ASI formats simultaneously. GbE input is transcoded to ASI output while ASI input is transcoded to GbE output. Two optional modules allow input/output in QAM & 8VSB formats rendering the product suitable for seamless transition of digital video services from coax to cat5 networks and vice versa. IPAT is expected to ship in 2Q2011.
[2] The
HDE-2H-QAM
(High Definition Encoder) is a 2:1 encoder and multiplexer that accepts up to two inputs in HDMI and component formats, digitizes and MPEG-2 encodes each into a HD (1080i/720p) stream, and multiplexes the resulting two streams into one QAM output. Any combination of input multiplexing is allowed, for example, 2xHDMI, or (1xHDMI) + (1xcomponent). The encoder supports Dolby® Digital AC-3 encoding & Closed Captioning (EIA-608), and is equipped with an EAS interface. HDE-2H-QAM is available now.
[3] The
HDE-2S-QAM
(High Definition Encoder) is identical to HDE-2H-QAM above, but accepts two inputs in HD-SDI and component formats. HDE-2S-QAM is expected to ship in 2Q2011.
[4] The
SD/AV10E-QAM
(Standard Definition Encoder) is a 10:1 encoder and multiplexer that accepts up to ten inputs in SD-SDI and NTSC Audio/Video formats, digitizes and MPEG-2 encodes each input, and multiplexes the resulting ten streams into one QAM output. The encoder supports Dolby® Digital AC-3 encoding & Closed Captioning, and is equipped with an EAS interface. SD/AV10E-QAM is available now.
